About This Spot

Step inside Los Dos Hermanos, tucked into a lively Brooklyn corner where warmth and authenticity greet you like an old friend. The moment you arrive, there’s a sense of easy comfort that fills the air—bright yet inviting, with conversations weaving naturally around the room. It’s the kind of place where time slows just enough to savor the company, the surroundings, and the soul of Mexican cooking rooted in thoughtful tradition.

The pace here is unhurried but vibrant, a neighborhood gem where the hum of friendly chatter blends softly with the clinking of glasses and the occasional sizzle from the kitchen. The space carries a charm that’s part rustic, part refined, styled with care but never overly polished. It invites guests to settle in, relax, and share moments that linger beyond the meal.

Food at Los Dos Hermanos is a heartfelt expression of Mexico’s diverse flavors and textures, presented with an approachable spirit. You’ll find dishes that balance boldness and comfort — classics like hearty chicken enchiladas, grilled octopus with a fresh twist, or a perfectly layered mole tamale. Small touches, like the brightness of freshly made guacamole paired with crisp chips or the smoky sweetness of Mexican street elote, often steal the show. Drinks here aren’t an afterthought but a part of the experience too — whether it’s a carefully crafted margarita or a lively Bloody Mary, each sip complements the meal and the moment.

The hospitality feels genuine, not rehearsed. From the smiles at the door to the attentive guidance on the menu, the team creates an atmosphere that’s part neighborhood warmth, part celebration of tradition. This isn’t just about eating, but about feeling at home in a space where every detail—from the aroma of spices to the personality behind the bar—draws you in.

Whether you’re sharing plates with friends on a casual night out or seeking a relaxed spot where flavors and stories unfold slowly, Los Dos Hermanos offers a welcoming pulse that’s uniquely its own. It’s the kind of place that stays with you, long after the last bite.

The place has good aesthetics. Their kitchen creates excellent dishes at reasonable costs. The food quality impressed me and the price seemed right for how much I received. The team provides excellent customer care. We found this restaurant truly excellent.

Not 5/5, not 10/10, it’s a 100/100! A Truly Flawless Dining Experience! I'm not exaggerating when I say that this restaurant has set a new standard for excellence for me. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the attention to customer satisfaction, detail to decor, and commitment to quality food and drinks. We were welcomed to sit comfortably while waiting for our table. During that brief time, we had the chance to take in the decor and meet the owner and his wife. It happened so casually and genuinely! Made us feel like VIP. My friends were visiting out of state so it was important for me that They have a good time! And they did. We did. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the menu to find that it was a tablet! Very helpful for those like myself who find traditional menus challenging to read! The food was sublime. I had the Elote and Al Pastor tacos. My husband had the churrasco steak and eggs and my friends had the chicken burrito bowl and the Pulpo. We demolished our plates. The bottomless drinks, were great quality! Not watered down like other places! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was warm and inviting... the list goes on. I genuinely couldn't think of a single area for improvement. If you're looking for a dining experience that will leave you feeling wholesome, and eager to return, look no further. This restaurant is a true gem in my beloved Brooklyn.

Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere. The staff works hard to make you feel like home. The food, delicious, authentic and served fresh. The drinks, plentiful. Rose and Oscar, don't just make you feel welcomed, they go above and beyond to make you feel like family. Highly reccomend their steak fajitas, their wings and all of their drinks.

Excellent food. Fresh ingredients. Friendly and authentic advice from the employees. The best Mexican I’ve ever tasted albeit I’ve only had Mexican about 20 times. Highly recommend!

Everything is authentic here, from Oscar the owner, to the food and drink. Best Sangria, best Mimosas, most flavorful Pulpo. The atmosphere and decor was inviting for both an intimate date or group setting. Own the day and be a hero to your friends by bring them here!

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. We sat outside and ordered a sangria and a beer as well as some chips and guacamole to start. They do offer a $20 bottomless mimosa and sangria deal during brunch (although didn’t opt for that this time). Our drinks and chips arrived at the same time. The sangria was very good (and strong) and would recommend. We had gone for the spicy guacamole and it was great, with just the right amount of spice. We decided to share the taco board and the pork tostada. The portions were generous and this was more than enough food to share. Everything we tried was delicious and I loved that the tortillas were corn tortillas (really makes such a difference). The only sight disappointment was the fish taco, nothing bad but it just wasn’t as flavorful as everything else. One area for improvement would be that the service was a little slow. They were very busy though so it may have just been a one off. Our total bill, including tax and tip, was $125 (which we thought was reasonable for the quality of food). We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot if you are in the area.
